Clear your list with your thumb
Swipe right to complete a task or reopen a finished one, swipe left to snooze it to a later day. The list groups into overdue, today and this week, and the tab badge counts what is overdue.
Add a task in plain language
Type it the way you would say it, "draft the budget review Friday", and the app works out the due date. Capturing something on the move costs a few seconds, which is the difference between capturing it and forgetting it.
Works with no signal
Completing, reopening, snoozing and re-prioritising are saved on the phone and sent when you are back online. Creating a task needs a connection, because it has to reach the server to exist.
The same app as on iPhone
Both are built from the same source, so they behave the same way and neither is the poor relation. Whichever phone you carry, the work looks and works the same.
Questions
Why is it not in the Play Store yet?
It is on Google Play's internal testing track while we finish it, which distributes to a named list of testers rather than the public. The app is real and running; it is not listed publicly yet. Ask us and we will add you.
How many notifications will it send?
One a day at most, at a time you choose, telling you what is due. It is off until you turn it on.
Does it cost anything?
No. Every Onplana Tasks companion is free and included with every plan, including the free plan. It is a companion to your Onplana account rather than a separate product.
Do I need it to use Onplana?
No. Everything it does, the web app does. The companions exist so the work you have been assigned is one click, one keystroke or one swipe away instead of a tab you have to go and find.
Will my work sync?
Yes. It is the same account and the same data, so a task you complete in a companion is complete everywhere, and a task assigned to you in the web app appears here.
