Publishing Agreement
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Onplana lets you build an app by chatting with the AI and publish it to a live URL under onplana.app (for example my-app.onplana.app). Once published, your app is reachable by anyone on the internet. This Publishing Agreement sets out the terms that apply when you publish. You accept it the first time you publish and again whenever these terms are updated.
This agreement supplements our Terms of Service and incorporates our Acceptable Use Policy for published apps. If there is a conflict, the Terms of Service govern except on the specific topics addressed here. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. What publishing means
Publishing builds your app to static files and serves them from a public Onplana-operated host at a <name>.onplana.app address. Rolling back to a previous version re-points that same live address and is also a publishing action governed by this agreement. Taking an app offline (unpublish) or deleting it does not require acceptance.
2. Your content and your responsibility
- You own your content. Publishing through Onplana does not transfer ownership of your app or its content to us. You grant Onplana the limited rights we need to host, build, serve, cache, and display the app so that it can be published and viewed.
- You are responsible for what you publish. You confirm that you have the right to publish the content, that it does not infringe anyone's intellectual-property or other rights, and that it complies with applicable law and our Acceptable Use Policy.
- AI-generated output. App code and content may be generated with AI assistance. You are responsible for reviewing what you publish; you should not rely on it being correct, secure, or fit for a particular purpose without your own review.
3. Acceptable use
Everything you publish must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy for published apps, which prohibits (among other things) illegal content, malware and phishing, deceptive impersonation, adult content, spam tooling, infringing content, and harvesting visitors' personal information. Please read it; it is part of this agreement.
4. How Onplana serves published apps
- Static hosting. Published apps are served as static content. Onplana does not run your server-side code or manage a backend or database on your behalf as part of publishing.
- Not indexed by default. Published apps are served with headers asking search engines not to index them. Publishing is a way to share your app by link; it is not an SEO hosting service.
- Attribution on some plans. On the Free plan, published apps include a small "Made with Onplana" badge and a "Report this app" link. Paid plans may remove the badge as described in the product and pricing.
5. Data your app collects
If your published app collects, stores, or transmits information from its visitors, you are the party responsible for that data. You must provide any notices and obtain any consents that the law requires, and handle the data lawfully. Do not use a published app to collect passwords or credentials for other services, or to collect personal data without a clear, lawful purpose and appropriate disclosure. Onplana's own handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability
Publishing hosting is provided on a commercially reasonable, "as available" basis. Except where a written service-level commitment applies (see our SLA), we do not guarantee that a published app will be available without interruption. You are responsible for keeping your own copy of your app's source; you can export it at any time from the product.
7. Takedown, suspension, and appeal
We may take a published app offline, suspend publishing, or reserve an app's address if the app violates this agreement, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the law, or in response to a valid legal request. For severe abuse we may act immediately and notify you afterwards. When an app is taken down, its address stops serving and is reserved so it cannot be taken over by someone else, and it cannot be silently re-published. You can appeal a takedown from the app's publish controls, subject to the limits in the Acceptable Use Policy. Copyright takedowns follow our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
8. Publishing limits
Publishing is subject to per-plan limits, including how many apps you can have published at once, the size of each published app, and how often you can publish. The current limits for your plan are shown in the product's publish controls and in our documentation. Attempting to evade these limits, for example by spreading publishing across multiple accounts or organizations, is a violation of this agreement and the Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Changes and re-acceptance
We may update this agreement from time to time. This agreement is versioned: when we make a material change, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you publish. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Continuing to publish after a change takes effect, and in any case accepting the updated agreement, constitutes acceptance.
10. Contact
To report a published app, use onplana.com/report. For questions about this agreement, contact support@onplana.com. Onplana is operated by Devsoft Solutions; see our Terms of Service for company details.
